Yahoo stopped the series from April 30

Yahoo will stop Deals, Yahoo Upcoming, Yahoo Kids, Yahoo SMS Alerts and J2ME platform to focus resources on core products.
Yahoo has announced a series of shutdowns on April 30 to focus on other targets as they launch two new applications, Yahoo Mail and Yahoo Weather.
The projects include Deals, Yahoo Upcoming, Yahoo Kids, Yahoo SMS Alerts and the J2ME platform for phone versions of Yahoo Mail and Yahoo Messenger.
Yahoo buys Upcoming in 2005, a program that allows users to schedule their own events.
Yahoo Kids, formerly known as Yahooligans, was launched in 1996. It is a portal for children with news, games, jokes and hobbies.
Yahoo launched Deal in 2008 to offer online coupons and similar Groupon deals.
Yahoo SMS Alerts provide news and information on the zodiac through messages. Similarly, Yahoo will replace Yahoo and Messenger's J2ME platform on both the phone and its pages.
In his first interview after taking over as CEO, Marissa Meyer, a former Google executive, said Yahoo will focus on "core" products.

Yahoo Mail has a new feature

Yahoo is testing a number of new upgrades to the free Yahoo Mail service that when completed will allow users to share photos more easily with friends and family members. The new service "PhotoMail" will allow users to insert up to 300 photos into an e-mail and send them to hundreds of people at once. This type of e-mail can be sent easily because each thumbnail of the image is only 3-5 kilobytes. All images inserted into the e-mail will be processed by the Yahoo server, allowing displaying the actual resolution of the image when the user clicks the thumbnail. Inserted into e-mail using drag & drop (from computer hard drive or from website). In order to use the PhotoMail service, users need a normal Yahoo Mail account and may need to install a small piece of software. With the introduction of PhotoMail, Yahoo also added spam-blocking capabilities and added support for six additional languages. Currently, Yahoo Mail is available in 21 different languages.

Yahoo Mail Classic is dead
